I am interested
in the paradox that arises when the processes of creation and erasure dissolve
into one. For this reason my drawing relies on repetition. I create an initial
image out of a collection of disparate lines only to erase parts of it. By
erasing the line, traces of the presence remains. The process of erasing
and making are one.
